Infertility.
I had a laparoscopy surgery back in January 2009 which confirmed stage IV Endometriosis and Polycystic ovaries. Not only that but it was quite obvious my fallopian tubes were damaged as well. The RE initially thought it was due to an infection but after the lap realized it was just a side effect of the endo. Since one of my tubes is completely blocked my risk of ectopic pregnancy has increased tremendously. So not only do I have Endometriosis and PCOS but tubal factor infertility as well. BAM!
For treatment, I went through menopause for six months (thanks to Lupron) and am currently using a Mirena I.U.D. (birth control). So if you or anybody you know is thinking about using any of these meds or is struggling with infertility, we are VERY open to talking about it. :)
